AIS Training Center is a heavy equipment operator and technician training center in Lansing, Michigan.
We welcome students to obtain a hands-on understanding of the construction industry through tailored programs such as hydraulic, electrical, engine, and power trains. Since 1995, AIS has been training its own employees. After we became a Komatsu certified technical training center, we began training for dealers all over the United States.
In 1996, we kicked off operator training programs for General Motors and Lansing Community College. Working with college students encouraged us to join forces with the Eaton EISD program in 2000 to work with high school students. We now stand at the beginning of many students’ paths into the construction workforce, training 150 students a day.
Our program at Lansing Community College has expanded to include Heavy Equipment Repair, which is offered as an Associate’s Degree or a certificate.
