We are a full-time fully-staffed training facility located in Lansing Michigan.

We train year-round on utility and construction equipment operation and repair. Though AIS is an equipment distributor we have one of the largest training facilities that offers operator training on all makes and models along with technical training on basic programs that would include hydraulic, electrical, engine and power trains.

We offer a wide variety of different training that begins with teaching high school students a 4 of our 5 branches at a total of 180 students a day in heavy equipment repair and operation. This program is also used to recruit new technicians into AIS plus help our customers find young talent coming into the industry.

The Training Center also offers heavy equipment repair classes through Lansing Community College. At this point you can get a certificate from AIS or an associate’s degree from LCC.

The Heavy Equipment Operator classes offer various types of equipment for the beginner and advanced operations.
