SUMMARY:5-day Electrical
DESCRIPTION:Technicians cover the General Applied & Advanced Electrical classes in 1 week. \nGENERAL ELECTRICAL\nIntroduces students to a core foundation of electrical systems used in the heavy equipment industry. Technicians will be taught Ohm’s law\, Atomic structure\, AC/DC\, electron flow\, Ohms Law\, Circuits\, and an introduction on meter use and schematic reading. \nAPPLIED ELECTRICAL\nThe technician will perform basic testing on starting and charging systems\, Batteries\, starting circuits\, charging circuits\, and individual component testing\, as well as further testing with meters and schematics. \nADVANCED ELECTRICAL Technicians explore hands on electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on 2-wire/3-wire circuits\, ECM\, CAN\, as well as reading and troubleshooting Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). adjustments\, LS differential adjustments\, Pilot systems\, schematic reading and interpretation\, PM tune-up a variety of hydraulic issues.

SUMMARY:Mobile HVAC Technical Training
DESCRIPTION:Mobile Air Conditioning teaches the laws of energy transfer\, and function and purpose of each of the\ncomponents found in a modern air conditioning system\, as well as train the proper handling\, charging\,\nrecovering\, and labeling procedures of the refrigerant used in current production machines (R‐134a). AIS Air\nconditioning teaches the theory of operation\, proper charging\, troubleshooting\, and repair procedures.\nSeveral manufacturers will be used for the hands‐on training. The course also implores upon the student the\nsimilarities of the systems between brands. There will be approximately one full day of troubleshooting on\ngenuine\, live systems with varying levels of air conditioning operation. Upon successful completion of this\ncourse the student will be EPA Certified to repair mobile air conditioning systems. EPA certification is required\nwhen performing any air conditioning work for consideration. While the EPA certification ensures that the\nstudent is trained mostly in the handling of the refrigerant\, this course enlightens and improves the student’s\nmobile air conditioning troubleshooting skills..
