The Heavy Equipment Repair Certificate Program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as a repair technician. Students will be instructed on shop practices, heavy equipment hydraulics, diesel engine rebuild, heavy equipment powertrains, electronics, and diesel fuel systems. Students will also be instructed on equipment maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic equipment operation.
Graduates of this certificate program may find employment in the construction equipment industry, agriculture, or forestry as mechanic's helpers and/or entry level technicians.
