The Electrical Diagnostics course provides a technician the opportunity to reinforce knowledge and practice the skills learned in the Level 1 and 2 Electrical courses. A short review of electrical fundamentals is followed by hands on practice using a multimeter, repairing electrical connectors, and using Service Advisor to locate electrical information. The final day of the course is spent diagnosing electrical problems on several different pieces of equipment. To bypass this course as a requirement for certification, a Bypass test is available. Search JDU for CSP-17-DLMTC126 for more details. Students are required to bring a laptop with the latest operating version of Service ADVISOR™ and data DVDs for use in the class and shop.
